Snicker Salad

Oxymoron, you say? =) Well, maybe....it's not exactly a healthy salad. haahaa! My friend brought this dessert to the crab fest we had last Saturday...and it was delish! She made it so she wouldn't eat it (she's on a diet & she's allergic to peanuts). So, those of you who have a peanut allergy, BEWARE! Though, I guess you could substitute any candy bar that doesn't contain peanut products (Twix, 3 Musketeers, Milky Ways, etc.). Anyway, here's the how to...

Snicker Salad

Ingredients:
1 small package Instant Vanilla pudding mix
1 cup milk
12 oz Whipped Topping
6-8 apples (preferably Granny Smith, for tartness to contrast all the sweets ;)
6 full-size Snickers candy bars

Directions:
Whisk milk with pudding mix for 2 minutes. Pudding will be thick. Fold in the Whipped Topping. Add chopped apples, and chopped Snickers bars. Stir to coat apples and Snickers. Refrigerate until serving.

(Best made a couple of hours right before the event, and a little chilled.)

Confession, I forgot to snap a photo of HER Snicker Salad...so, I had to borrow a pic from www.food.com
this is what it looks like...do you want to dive into it yet?!?! =)
It's perfect and easy for a summer time picnic! Hope you enjoy! Thanks, Nikki, for a great recipe! =)
