Thanksgiving Day Name Place Cards

I get this magazine in the mail called Paper Source. I really like it. They have some really unique gift items, stationary, and some really cool craft ideas. The only thing about the craft items are that I'm too cheap to buy them. =) In their magazine this time they had some really cute Thanksgiving name place cards...I knew I wasn't going to buy them, so I decided to make up my own template. If you decide you'd rather just buy them and not deal with the hassle of trying to make them yourself...the link is down below. If you'd like to save a few bucks, then download my free template and follow along...I can assure you they are the easiest things to make! =)
Cut out your templates and trace them on colored construction paper. If you have
printer friendly paper you could print the templates right onto your colored paper.

Cut out all the piece to the acorn and glue them together...the eyes
are the fun part because you can put them any direction you want. =)
Acorn place card kit from Paper Source is $10.50 for 8.
The squirrel requires no glue.
Squirrel place card kit from Paper Source is $9.95 for 12.
Take the legs and fold them in half.
Cut a little slit in both the leg and the body.
Slide the pieces together and wah-lah...you have a standing squirrel! =)
Aren't they so cute....and SUPER DUPER easy?!?!
I love them! =) Hope it makes for some smiles for Thanksgiving!
