NCIS Themed Birthday Party

This party was a couple of week ago now...it was planned to have a surprise party for a friend a week after her birthday as to throw her off if she had any inkling of any kind of party happenings. =) She loves...and I mean loves, NCIS. So...why not throw an NCIS themed brithday party. =) We were all supposed to dress up like characters from the show...and those who didn't dress up we just called them 'criminals' or 'extras'. haahaa!!

We had footprints leading the 'birthday girl chair'. =)

 I was able to re-use my 'Mug Shots' poster from my cousin's CSI themed graduation party. 

We all got our pictures taking with the birthday girl. =)

 Since, Maggie didn't know that she was having a party...then of course she didn't know that she was supposed to dress up...so Melissa (who hosted the party) gathered some clothes for Maggie to look like Abby. She was a fabulous 'Abby'!!! =) haahaa! We even made her paint her nails black!

 Left to right we have Shalee as very Special Agent Tony Dinozzo, Becky as Agent Ziva David, Sarah as a dead person, Maggie as Abby Sciuto, Melissa as Jimmy Palmer, & me as Dr. Donald "Ducky" Mallard...the other girls didn't dress up.

 Each item on the table began with the letter 'm'...we didn't know it yet, but after we were done eating we were supposed to write down all the items we remember from the table...and they HAD to begin with 'm'....the quiche is what got me...they were mini quiche!! duh!!! It takes me a while sometimes. =)  There were meatballs, Mexican dip, mozzarella sticks, etc.

 Later we all got stickers on our foreheads...each 'character' had something to do with a mystery themed game (like clue) or an author of mystery books or a movie producer of mystery movies (like Alfred Hitchcock). We all had turns to ask a 'yes' or 'no' question about our character...whoever could figure out who was on their forehead first won!! It was a lot of fun!! =)

 Maggie's favorite cake...Australian Pavlova. She is originally from Canada, but her mom is from Australia & still has some family there. So, she loves the traditional Australian Pavlova.

 Let me tell you...the pavlova was delish!!! I'll have to try to make it sometime.
