Chocolate Pudding Chocolate Chip Cookies

My husband has been working really hard for me around the house to get projects done. I wanted to do something for him as a 'thank you' for everything he's been doing. I found this pudding cookies recipe and I knew he would love it!


The blog I found it from is Two Peas & Their Pod. In their recipe they actually use vanilla pudding, but my husband (& I) =) like chocolate...& basically I only had chocolate pudding mix in the house & not vanilla so I figured it was worth a try. =)


Chocolate Pudding Chocolate Chip Cookies
Yield: 4 dozen cookies Cook Time: 10-12 minutes

Ingredients:
1 cup salted butter, at room temperature
3/4 cup brown sugar
1/4 cup granulated sugar
3.4 oz. package chocolate instant pudding mix
2 large eggs
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 bag of semi-sweet chocolate chips

Instructions:
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F.

2. Using a mixer, beat together butter and sugars until creamy. Add in pudding mix, eggs, and vanilla extract. In a medium bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt. Add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients and mix until just combined. Stir in the chocolate chips.

3. Drop cookie dough by rounded tablespoons onto baking sheet.  Bake for 10-12 minutes, or until set. Remove cookies from oven and let cool on baking sheet for two minutes. Transfer to a cooling rack and cool completely.
I just used my tablespoon to spoon out the cookie dough into balls.
They look so delish!!
I was one short of four dozen cookies.
They are sooooo scrumptious!
Needless to say my husband loved them! =) They were a huge hit!

  1. I tried these about a month ago for the first time and I only had white chocolate chips. I made them with the chocolate pudding and they were delish! Thanks for the recipe, Manna!!!
